Meet Mr. Miller (Joe Miller)

Principal, 3rd Grade Science

I enjoy: Spending time with family, hiking, reading, and traveling.

I want my students to:
know they are loved beyond measure by our Creator. We are all created in the image of God, and we all have unique giftings and abilities.

I teach because:
I love building relationships with students, and I make it my mission to speak life into students and help them thrive in their giftings.

My students have taught me:
to be observant, that asking questions is empowering, and the importance of having fun.

A quote I love:
Education is not the learning of facts, but training the mind to think. -Albert Einstein

Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from Kent State University

I want my students to:
Know God, and not just know about God.
Have a personal relationship with Him, and show the world who God is as they live their lives as students and eventually as adults.
Be grateful

I teach because:
I am passionate about learning,
It brings me so much joy to watch understanding flash across the faces of my students.
I love building relationships with my students
I love speaking life and encouragement into my students.
I love the opportunity to teach my students to know that they are valuable and deeply loved by God, and to watch them learn to truly believe that, as they grow and mature

My students have taught me:
We all need grace to succeed
To not take life too seriously…there is always room for fun
To laugh
Preparation is key

A verse I love: Deuteronomy 32:2
